THE mini muff society.
The MUFF Society recognizes that part of celebrating women in film is supporting our local film community. There are so many talented local women filmmakers and we want to give them a voice—and a screen. Through our short film program, mini MUFF, we showcase at least one short film with each of our monthly screenings in and feature the filmmaker on our website.
If you have a short film that celebrates women in film, we want to see it! Submit below:
Mini MUFF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
To be considered eligible to screen as part of The MUFF Society, your short film must meet at least ONE of the following criteria: be directed or co-directed by a woman, be written by a woman, or feature a female lead with a decidedly empowering, feminist story to tell. Your submission should address which criteria is exhibited by your film.
Films must not exceed 15 minutes in length, including credits. All non-English language films must have English subtitles.
Online screeners are preferred. If you choose to send a DVD screener, be aware that The MUFF Society accepts no responsibility for loss or damage of entries during shipment. No screeners will be returned to the filmmaker, unless arranged in advance. Any costs of delivery and return of screeners is the responsibility of the filmmakers.

Please read this agreement before you submit your film. By submitting your film, you expressly acknowledge that you have read and accept the terms and rules of The MUFF Society.
1. I authorize The MUFF Society to exhibit my film and I confirm that I will be able to provide an exhibition quality copy for the screening (the required format may vary by city and will be expressed to the filmmaker(s) upon acceptance of the film).
2. I certify that I hold all necessary rights for the submission of this film to The MUFF Society and that all rights and clearances have been made. This film is not subject to any litigation nor is threatened by any litigation.
3. If selected, I transfer The MUFF Society the right to use excepts (stills, trailers, etc.) of the submitted film for the purpose of publicity and marketing of the film, the screening of which it will be included, and The MUFF Society in general.
4. I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless The MUFF Society from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screeners entered.
